Director, Credit & Collections - Now Hiring

DIRECTV is seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized director to join the Credit and Collections organization.
In this supervisory position, you will lead a team playing a key role in collections strategy and advanced analytics.
You will be responsible for finding innovative ways to enhance productivity while ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations.
A strong working knowledge of performance and financial acumen to drive optimization in operational productivity, key metrics, and budget goals will be key in this role.
Here's what you'll do:
Develop and take leadership for collection initiatives aimed at reducing invol churn, bad debt, and improving DSO.
Accountable to daily operational metrics and resolution of anomalies.
Analyze reporting to determine opportunities (vendor, customer experience, churn, etc.
).
Recommend strategy changes and develop corresponding business cases.
Ensure vendors are meeting contractual obligations.
Partner with various organizations to align on Winback, Leniency, and retention strategies.
Coordinate implementation guidelines and necessary training with collection leads to deliver within given timelines.
Maintain compliance with external regulations and internal policies.
Assess and report progress of initiatives to leadership.
Participate in budget development and monitoring of expenses.
Create business cases and supporting documentation to align with leadership team and gain approval of recommendations for strategy changes.
Partnering with accounting to align on annual forecasting.
What you'll need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
10 years of financial and supervisory experience required.
5
years of experience as a department director or similar position.
Strong working knowledge of performance, operations management, and financial acumen.
Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards.
Exceptional communication, written, and verbal skills.
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
Highly skilled collaborator and cross-functional communicator.
This role requires a minimum, but is not limited to, approximately 10% travel.
This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
