Sr Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis


Deliverables consist of providing finance support in the P&L and Cashflow planning processes for all quarterly estimates, annual budgets and long-range plans, performing P&L consolidations and variance analysis, issuing of weekly and monthly business performance reports, analysis and project work within tight deadlines.
Reporting & Analysis:
1) Supporting the review, analysis and issuance of key business performance reports and assisting in the creation of presentations for senior management:

  • USH Weekly & Monthly financial reporting & presentation
  • Ownership of financial reporting on VIP & HHN products
  • Closely work with IT teams and various finance functions in implementing and maintaining new budget/planning system (BPC) and business performance reporting tool (MicroStrategy)
2) Supporting the review, analysis and issuance of external corporate financial reports:
  • P&L commentary
  • Cashflow reporting
  • Ad hoc reporting & analysis requests from UPR or NBCU
Planning & Forecast:
Supporting the development of the Company s Long-term Strategic Plan / Annual Budget / Quarterly Estimates and Pacing through the following:
  • Support the administration of the planning & reporting system (Comshare / BPC)
  • Support the collection, consolidation and analysis of annual/quarterly P&L and Cashflow estimates
  • Assist in identifying business risks and opportunities and incorporating them in position update or pacing
  • Provide support by performing variance analysis
  • Assist with preparation of PowerPoint presentations
  • Special projects & ad hoc analysis as required by management


Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance and Accounting Prior experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience in using and managing budget/planning systems (SAP, Hyperion, Business Objects, Cognos, etc)
Strong Computer / Analysis Skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
