CAFM/Strategic Occupancy Planning Manager

Responsibilities:

Under general direction of the Director, Office Services, this position is responsible for general occupancy planning and reporting services across the NBCUniversal and DreamWorks portfolio. Leverages team, relationships, tools and processes to forecast space requirements based on verified existing space information, forecasted space supply/demand and growth projections. Provides metrics around current and future space needs.
Core Responsibilities

  • Engages in development and training with AutoCAD and CAFM (Archibus) software systems with the goal of becoming highly proficient within the first year in the role and a SME within the second year.
  • Hands on leader of occupancy planning and reporting including the development and management of data entry and collection processes, key monthly and quarterly occupancy performance reporting.
  • Leads a direct report covering CAFM administration responsibilities for updates in the system, adds, moves and changes, restack and efficiency scenario planning, and general data reliability.
  • Works closely with other Office Service team members to build and execute space inspection and condition/occupancy verification processes and tools for monthly reporting.
  • Collaborates with other team members to gain business intelligence. Responsible for occupancy data within the system of record. May be required to manage space walks for validation and update of occupancy metrics.
  • Along with the CAFM administrator, utilizes a CAFM database, manage allocations and maintain data accuracy, and perform quarterly data and drawing audits
  • Communicates recommendations in written reports and graphic presentations. Produces graphic charts and diagrams for visual display of quantitative and qualitative information. Illustrates organizational, operational and functional relationships that pose physical and spatial impacts. Prepares plans, schematic schedules, stack and block fit plans.
  • Attend client meetings, gather requirements and draft meeting minutes and obtain approvals to proceed. (headcount/growth, allocations, adjacencies, special support needs) Develops and execute phasing plans for relocation and sequencing based on the physical space requirements. Generates conceptual solutions that respond to client s spatial requirements, physical planning constraints and IT, HR and compliance requirements.
  • Use creative and analytical thinking to aggregate data from multiple sources and generate solution options for occupancy problems, providing analysis for client decision making
  • Partners with other departments on move and relocation sequencing and execution. Liaise with Change and Move Management teams as needed.
  • Along with the CAFM Administrator, reviews, and/or updates CAD drawings and/or related database(s).
  • Report on building data, organizational data, and occupancy metrics at the campus, metro, or regional level using MS Excel and or MS PowerPoint
  • Keeps abreast of changes, new developments, trends, and innovations in the field.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite applications including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Proven ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of organizational (people) management.
At least 5 years work experience working in a corporate environment with a deep understanding of organizational planning.
Strong data management and reporting capabilities
Experience in generating executive level presentation decks in PPT and other formats
Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Proficiency with the following software: Excel, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop & PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively and work within a diverse corporate environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
