Manager Data Management

Responsibilities   Provide day to day leadership and supervision of a team responsible for the development and support of scalable, high-performance data platforms/environments (i.e. data warehouses, data marts, business intelligence/reporting/analytical solutions) partnering with various business areas across the organization.  Mentor, coach, evaluate and support data management team.   Able to handle pressure associated with critical issues and provide timely updates to upper management. Participate in vendor selection and management of vendor resources.  Includes oversight of drafting SOW's, RFP's, vendor evaluation, and monitoring vendor progress of development deliverables through to implementation.   Also includes oversight of support staff as well. Work effectively with Technology Operations/Infrastructure teams to ensure a seamless transition of the completed solutions for its continued operations and maintenance.   Able to engage with them when issues arise. Leverage appropriate data/information architecture strategies, principles and processes.  Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established USH policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Requirements o Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field or highly relevant equivalent experience is required. o 10+ years of demonstrated experience working as part of large Information Technology teams and/or consulting organizations partnering with clients/business groups to lead and support complex data and information architecture/ management programs. o 3+ years prior leadership experience managing teams of 4 or more resources o Project management experience in the data management area. Demonstrated project management methodology knowledge and able to use project management planning tools such as MSProject. Must be able to enforce deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. o Broad experience with data requirements, data modeling concepts, data integration, master data management, metadata management, enterprise data warehousing (EDW) and business intelligence/analytics, tools, protocols and practices. o Demonstrated ability to produce high quality documentation and presentations. o Strong knowledge of systems development and project management methodologies/processes. o Experience with one or more databases such as Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle etc. o Experience with one or more ETL/Data Quality tools such as IBM's Data Stage/Quality Stage, Informatica Power Center etc. o Experience with one or more reporting/ad-hoc analysis tools such as MicroStrategy, Cognos, Business Objects, Tableau etc. o Experience with one or more data modeling tools such as Erwin, Embarcadaro etc. o Able to understand and interpret logical and physical data models. o Familiarity with customer identification and address standardization processes and tools such as Unica etc. a plus. o Familiarity with one or more statistical modeling tools by SPSS or SAS etc. o Familiarity with Big Data concepts, tools, utilities, protocols, and practices o Familiarity with Cloud Computing architectures, protocols, and practices o Demonstrated ability of strong customer relationship skills. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
