Project Manager

The Project Manager's duties are to ensure Broadcast Engineering projects are delivered on-budget and on-time. The Project Manager needs to work closely with the Manager of CAD and Design and support the demands of the Production. The Project Manager will also define configurations and work closely with the vendors to bring systems up. Other responsibilities include: - Broadcast System Design in AutoCAD - System power design - Oversee projects and coordinate with other departments to ensure their tasks relating to the project are completed on-time and on-budget - Lead Design Reviews with the design engineers and stakeholders of Broadcast Engineering projects - Oversee Test & Commissioning of new systems with the Maintenance team - Monitor Progress of the implementation of a project and estimate completion date of projects - Project Resource estimation - Develop Budget Proposals - Work directly with vendors to research systems and design systems - Plan and schedule milestones - Manage changes to project scope and develop contingency plans - Advise the Implementation team and answer questions while systems are being built - Create and Maintain system documentation - Keep all stakeholders updated on project status and progress - Develop system proposals with the vendors - Track Equipment deliveries and manage Lot labor for delivery to the right location - Coordinate outage windows to ensure successful installation of new systems when needed - All other duties as assigned Qualifications/Requirements - 5 or more years of successful experience designing and installing broadcast systems in 24/7 live on-air environments - 2 or more years of experience in Project Management - Experience with Project budgets and timelines - Knowledge of Broadcast System design, installation and commissioning - Knowledge of Core Systems like Router, Multiviewer, Reference, Production Switchers etc - Knowledge of Storage systems and virtual environments - Knowledge of IP networking skills - Ability to take responsibility and carry out assigned tasks with limited supervision - Ability to read and interpret construction documents such as elevation drawings, connection drawings, cable details and runlists - Ability to perform detailed work and being thorough in completing tasks - Demonstrated self composure and high tolerance for stress and unquestionable integrity - Ability to work well with others and coach other engineers displaying a supportive attitude - Available to work overtime, weeknights and/or weekends - Work experience in a union environment preferred - Fluent in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook and other NBCU internal tools - Experience with AutoCAD 2014 - Strong communication Skills 45149BR

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
