VP Visual Effects

Essential Responsibilities: Manage the Visual Effects and supporting staff on films through all phases of budgeting, development, prep, shoot and post production. Act as Visual Effects liaison to filmmakers and internal departments on projects assigned by the EVP. Manage the development of strategic alliances with existing Visual Effects Vendors, and evaluation of new suppliers. Development talent acquisition and management strategies for freelanceVisual Effects personnel. Partner with the EVP in the strategic planning and identifying of new opportunities in Visual Effects technology. Develop continuous improvement practices, and work with the EVP on operational efficiency planning. Manage special projects as assigned Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications: Minimum 10 years experience working in Visual Effects production. Minimum 5 years experience working as a production Department Head in a studio, with a vendor, or in the film industry. Must demonstrate existing relationships with Visual Effects Vendors. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
